Chick-fil-A finally coming to Nevada

LAS VEGAS – Chicken sandwich chain Chick-fil-A plans to open up to 10 stores in Nevada over the next five years with the first scheduled to open in Southern Nevada by early 2017.

The company is in 42 states with more than 1,900 locations but had refrained from opening a Chick-fil-A location in Nevada. Chick-fil-A is reported to own 26 percent of the nation’s fast food chicken market and is committed to serving only antibiotic-free chicken. Sales were nearly $6 billion in 2014 for the chain which opened in Atlanta in 1967 and has realized 47 straight years of growth.
